On September 11, Japanese GPE Youth Leaders hosted an online event on girls’ education in Afghanistan. The first session of the webinar was attended by nearly 70 people, and the second session, which was targeted at youth, was attended by more than the maximum number of youth.
Afghan youth from around the world also took part in the online event and shared their perspectives on the current situation in Afghanistan. Due to the time difference, the youth who were unable to attend the event shared their experiences in videos, which were shown during the first session of the online event.
Session 1 (simultaneous interpretation in English) is available in the video below. Please listen to the messages from Afghan youth, presentation from Afghan experts, and messages from the parliamentarians who supported this event.
